1. Sphere of applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by IT-OT Insider BV (hereinafter referred to as “IT-OT).
We respect the privacy of all our customers and trainees and ensure that the personal information you provide us with is treated confidentially.
2. Which data do we collect?
Customer contacts: We only collect data provided to us in the context of our services. This mainly concerns general identification and communication data of the employees and contact persons of our customers and business relations.
Website: We collect the identification, payment and communication data that you give us in the context of the purchases and actions you make on our website. This may include your marketing preferences, including any consents you have given us, and marketing analytics data such as information related to the browser or device you use to access our website (including your IP address and location data); any information we collect online from you and maintain in association with your account, such as your username and password;
Newsletter: We only collect the identification and communication data that you decide to give us when you subscribe to the newsletter.
3. Use of collected data
We process this personal information for the following purposes:
To establish and fulfill a contract with you. This may include verifying your identity, taking payments, communicating with you, providing customer service;
As required by us to enable our business and pursue our legitimate interests. In particular we use your personal information for the following purposes:
to provide services you have requested, and respond to any communications, comments or complaints you send us;
to monitor the use of our services and to help us monitor, improve and protect our services, content and website;
allow you to create, maintain, customize and secure your account with us;

Where our use of personal information is made pursuant to a balancing of our legitimate interests with your privacy interest, we will provide more information about our balancing analysis and process on request.
Your data is stored on well-secured servers and can only be accessed by persons who need to do so. We will not combine this data with other personal data in our possession. We will also not sell or use this data for purposes other than those that enable our operational services. Your data will not be kept any longer than is necessary for the performance of our services and for our accounting and other legal obligations.
You will only receive our newsletter if you actively subscribe to our mailing list. At the bottom of each mailing you will find the option to modify your data or to unsubscribe from our newsletter. We may however send other marketing mails in case we deem these to be relevant for your situation. In addition, we will send you, based on your consent (if required), direct marketing communication in relation to our relevant services, or other services provided by us, our affiliates and carefully selected partners. You can withdraw your consent at any time (“opt out”).
We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy unless we have obtained your prior consent.

We may store any e-mails or other messages you send to us. We sometimes ask you to provide us with personal data which are relevant to the specific service. This enables us to process your requests and to reply to your questions.
5. Third parties
We share your personal data with third parties only when necessary for the performance of our services, and to provide insights in who is interested in certain topics. We do not share your personal data for direct marketing purposes, unless as disclosed in this Privacy Policy.
If necessary for the performance of our services, your personal data will be shared internally. Our employees are under obligation to respect the confidentiality of your data.

The current Privacy Policy has been drawn up and is based on the current services provided by IT-OT. Any adjustments and/or modifications in services may result in changes to this Privacy Policy. It is therefore advisable to consult this Privacy Policy regularly.
7. Access to and amendment of personal data
We offer you the option of viewing, changing or -if you have good reason to do so- deleting any personal information provided to us. You can contact us at any time. If you choose to delete your data, only the data that we need because of a legitimate interest or a legal obligation will be retained.
8. Links to other website and third parties
Please be aware that IT-OT is not responsible for the privacy policies of third parties. In case of links to third-party websites or exchange of data in the context of the performance of our services, you should verify the privacy policy of these third parties. The same applies for our social media accounts.
9. Trainings
When you attend online or class room trainings your name and contact details may be shared with other trainees. You need to inform us beforehand should you oppose this.
10. Cookie policy
We use cookies on our website and tools/apps. A cookie is a small file that is sent and stored by your browser on your computer. The information stored in it can be sent back to our servers the next time you visit us. In this way, we can improve the user-friendliness, which will make it more pleasant for you to use our services.
