“I’m passionate about Industrial Digital Transformation. On The IT/OT Insider we share that passion and our insights with process & manufacturing plants and critical infrastructure all over the world!”



I’m holding a masters degree in Mathematical Engineering from the K.U. Leuven. To this date, I still teach several courses on cyber security, data and AI topics at two high schools and a university.



I was the industrial digitalization director at BASF Antwerp until 2022. In that role, I focussed on building digital product teams. I started as a data scientist, but quickly got passionate about Industrial Cyber Security, Data Platforms, digital operator tools and more fun technical stuff. During this time Willem and I layed the groundwork for what is now known as our IT/OT Cooperation Models.

Today I’m leading Analytics For Industry and I’m an advisor to Timeseer.AI. I’m focusing on bringing real digital transformation to Manufacturing, Process and Infrastructure companies. I co-founded The IT/OT Insider together with Willem in 2023 as a hobby project. In 2025 we turned The IT/OT Insider into a real company.
