Willem van Lammeren

“Chemical engineer with a passion for IT, I’ve immersed myself in industrial digitalization. From OT in logistics, labs, and production to IT infrastructure, ERP, and middleware. Yet, it’s the human factor that has truly captivated me—exploring new and improved ways of working. “

I’m holding a masters degree in Chemical Engineering from the K.U. Leuven.

In 2006 I started in Barry Callebaut where I had to start a new production facility for frozen pastry in the heat of southern Spain. After a job at AB Inbev coordinating and facilitating the implementation of a management Excellence Program in Western Europe, I moved to BASF.

Currently I am the tech lead Industrial IT at Syensqo (prev. Solvay) and leading the project to build our operational data lake.
