This is how our agenda looks like:
In Session 1 we take enough time to get to know each other and explain IT to OT and OT to IT (that’s Part I in our book).
In Session 2 we dive into data architectures and UNS. We explain the importance of scaling, the technical and organizational blockers. Next, we start drawing architectural typicals for different industries and different needs (this is Part III in our book).
In Session 3, we continue with architectural typicals and we also discuss diagrams we got from several well-known vendors, we use our capability map to find their strengths and weaknesses. In the second part of the session we step into IT-OT Cooperation: how do we engineer a working organization, able to deal with the complexity at hand (that is Part II in the book).
In Session 4, you’ll meet Sweet Harmony Treats. In this practical case, you’ll step into both IT and OT shoes to work on a hands-on digitalization case. Your mission? Help digitize their operations, without breaking what’s already working. You’ll analyze their challenges, map out possible architectures and organizations, and co-create a digital roadmap with your cohort.
Finally, in Session 5 and 6 we’ll host interesting guest speakers and have enough time for Q&A. In past sessions we had guest speakers talking about IT-OT Unification in Water&Waste Water, MES at a large Diary Plant, ISA95 data modeling, Data Platforms at a bakery, scaling AI initiatives and more!
